Fantastically interesting array of tropical Queenslands fauna. Great aerial boardwalk among the treetops, lovely wetland habitat area, great access to the animals and birds. Friendly staff. Lovely restaurant area with mingling with the birds- teenagers totally engaged. Great success.

What a terrific place to stroll around under the protective canopy. The layout allows one to stroll through with birds, kangaroos, etc simply walking up to you. The staff are terrific and we had the chance to have a red tailed cockatoo on our shoulders. The crocodile enclosure is very sturdy and allows you to be within a metre behind a fence. Fantastic and great for the little ones.

A rare day out with my beloved as we never ever get the same days off. Today we arrived in time to feed the Cassowaries and then had photos done holding a koala and then a snake. We spent a good 2 hours just walking around enjoying the animals and a lovely maintained park and THEN we Swam with the Salties = my treat for my partners forthcoming Birthday. What can I say ... well, ... it was truely awesome!!!! We were in the water at feeding of the Crocs time so we had a megga fab time. You really do feel like they are in the same pool as you. I can whole heartedly recommend it to everyone old enough to do it. The staff in every section of the park were amazing and obviously really love their jobs. More frontage advertisement would probably help as my partner did point out that you could easily drive by without knowing its there. For those reading this, Wildlife Habitat is the first turn left after the Captain Cook Highway roundabout into Port Douglas. Entry is only $39 per adult and $24 for kids from 4 yrears up...PLUS its is a 5 day pass so you have 5 consecutive days in which to keep visiting :)

5/5 Such a pleasant surprise. I wasn’t sure what to expect. It didn’t look like much from the road. We headed in and was welcomed by a super friendly lady then the rest of the afternoon continued. So many birds! Really beautiful. So many trees and plants .. very lush

We did breakfast with the Birds and also 2 of us did the crocodile experience. We had a great morning. Breakfast was ordinary, however the 2 young girls who came over to our table with the birds were exceptionally good. Their talk about the koalas was very informative too and we did learn a lot. The park was clean and tidy as usual and we enjoyed our day. The 2 that had the swim with the crocs really enjoyed it and we would recommend to do that.

I took my parents for the breakfast with the birds!!! Absolutely disgusted from the moment we arrived!!! We arrived at 8.30 & I was made to feel like I had completely stuffed up & was rushed through to the breakfast area!!! When we were shown our table the lady said I’ll see what I can do! I’m not a sensitive person but I felt humiliated & we were given a cold platter of what I feel should have been per person but consisted of 3 slices of cold bacon, some tiny cold crusty crustini, a tablespoon of scrambled eggs, 3 mini pancakes! And a tiny bowl of fruit! Tea & coffee was from a theremos!!! I would appreciate a chance to speak to Management as my experience was embarrassing!!!

This was an immersive experience that I would especially recommend to families. All the enclosures are well kept and easily navigated. The cafe makes a good coffee and the food is good. While your having a coffee and something to eat you may even get a visit from Max the Red Tail Black, who is very gentle and he made no attempt to take any food. The Crock show was great. A fantastic learning experience as well as very relaxing.

We love visiting zoos and wildlife parks and were excited to check out Wildlife Habitat. We weren't disappointed - from the moment we stepped out of the entrance/gift shop into the aviary to the moment we said goodbye to Elvis as we left, Miss 11 couldn't stop oohhing and ahhing. We were able to spend 3 hours wandering around, going back to different exhibits, feeding the kangaroos and talking to the cockatoos. My only request would be for the cafe to open a little longer with some more food options as by 12:30 there was not much left. Thank you for a great day.

Attended with 2 others. What a wonderful experience seeing all the different types of animals and birds. A very cheeky galah, and Black Cockatoo, which climbed onto your shoulder, but, be advised these birds DO BITE. Feeding the Kangaroos another highlight. Ideal for children, as well. Highlrecommended

My partner and I had so much fun meeting all the animals! Met and held Teddy the Koala, held a 5yo Croc name bazinga! So many cheeky birds getting around the park that love to say hello and sometimes sit on you! The croc show was awesome to see! When you purchase a ticket it allows you to come back for the next 5 days too incase you miss something! Great experience
