Following a complimentary coffee and biscuits at the reception area the arrival was smooth and the host was very attentive, even showing us some of her resident tree frogs.
Learning about the Daintree ecosystem on board the short cruise was enlightening and interesting. We saw 4 saltwater crocodiles and some lovely birds plus a python hanging from a tree.
Graham the guide was informative and funny and the trip was worth the drive from Cairns.
Do it if you have the time. I am sure you won’t be disappointed

I found the deal on Groupon to book for the next day.. the booking included exact address to go to and we were welcomed with a friendly smile and a cuppa at the office. We were taken down to the boat on time and had a great cruise with Graham (not Bob) as our guide. He knew exactly where the friendly crocs would be and found 3 of them for us for up close photo opportunities… we also saw a huge killer python up a tree ,a few Radjah Shelducks and a Little Kingfisher. Very good hour on The Daintree

Four of us (2 Couples) enjoyed our Daintree River Cruise very much and consider it a highlight of our travels.
We were warmly and enthusiastically welcomed at the centre by Kianna and her dog Winston and shared our picnic lunch in the beautiful gardens provided for our enjoyment.
The fact the centre is the only eco certified operator in the Daintree was important in making our choice and having brought our own BYO Cups we were pleased that a $1 per cup was donated to Conservation.
Our "Skipper" Graham provided an engaging and extremely informative commentary as we travelled on the Daintree River. Everyone on board was excited to see crocodiles at close but safe proximity. The young ones sighted, indicate a healthy population for the future also. Thankyou Kianna for providing such an amazing opportunity to participate in this wonderful experience. It reminded us of the importance of human coexistence with the environment and our responsibilities to conserve this unique gift for the future.
