We really enjoyed our full day tour with Aaron. We learnt alot about the rainforest and the Aboriginal community. A quick dip in a crystal clear creek was the perfect ending to a relaxing adventure.

Fascinated to learn about bush medicines and foods while seeing the sights on route to Cape Trib and back. Very comfortable air conditioned van and a delicious lunch on the beach that included unusual tropical fruits and freshly baked damper. Arron was a wonderful guide. We have done the trip to Cape Trib before but never like this - so pleased we went.

We thoroughly enjoyed the full day trip to Cape Tribulation, and could not have possibly seen on learnt so much by ourselves. Our guide Aaron was so knowledgeable, personable and fun to be with. He absolutely made the day worthwhile. We really appreciated learning more about indigenous medicines, culture and history and viewing the area from his perspectives. The food was excellent, and the home made damper was scrumptious! He even managed to spot a python, a cassowary and chicks and other wildlife. Highly recommended!!

Just returned from a brilliant day trip. As said elsewhere Aaron was a special and a great host. From driving around Mossman to collect supplies and that great homemade damper, stopping to get some great local fruit, to being shown so many sights, animals, local medicines, cassowaries, stick insects etc, before we ended up at Cape Tribulation. The list of highlights was endless. We also had a great family along as well to make a group of 6. We saw stuff that others would not see and so glad we changed from a half day to a full day trip. Well worth doing. Stopping off at the iceream farm topped off the trip.

Our guide, Aaron, was incredible! Such a lovely man. So full of knowledge and caring deeply for the ways of his Kuku Yalanji community. He is a wonderful teacher. We are still in a bit of a dreamy state from how amazing our experience was on this full day adventure. Highly recommend Aaron and Walkabout Cultural Adventures. We’ll be back someday!

The mangrove hunting, was terrifying and incredible and our guide Juan was wonderful. I would love to learn more, about the original people, history and culture, he really shared his people’s story and there’s so much more to learn. Every part of this experience was worth it!

What a fabulous experience! We did the full day tour to Cape Tribulation with Aaron, and loved every bit of it. His knowledge of bush tucker, plants, animals and indigenous culture was amazing and just added to our experience. It didn't just stop there, we also dropped in at the tea plantation, a local beach side Cafe and the tropical fruit ice-creamary - fantastic. We look at the rainforest in a much different way now thanks to this wonderful tour, and happy to pass on our newly acquired knowledge to others. This tour is something everyone should do at least once.
