Lady Douglas will cruise up the calm waterway of the Dickson Inlet, spotting shipwrecks, birds, crocodiles, crabs, mudskippers and other animals along the way. Then the cruise will go along the waterfront of the Marina and out to the front of Port Douglas, pointing out the historical buildings of Port Douglas and the surrounding coastline along the way. The 4:30 cruise was a very enjoyable and relaxing hour and a half. Beau ensured we had a drink from the wide range available and a delightful snack pack of nibbles. She has a very bubbly and pleasant personality. Simon shares that welcoming and pleasant personality and gave us a very informative and interesting commentary on the ecology of the area as well as the history of the Port Douglas area. All in all a great time.

What a brilliant commentary from the Master of the Lady Douglas subjects covered ranged from Christopher Skase and his early involvement in Port Douglas before his ultimate demise, John Farnhamâs boat, early development days including a gold rush and cyclone, and how the sex of crocodiles occurs! Spoken with great humour including the three golden rules to avoid being dinner for a big old salty crocodile. Terrific and memorable thanks.

Just the best value trip in Port Douglas so far! Ver relaxing and great crew. You receive a welcome drink and snacks while on board. We even saw 2 crocodiles! You have to do this cruise, we did the 2.30pm and it was the best time of the day.

What a great cruise-the staff were fantastic and the captain was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour. We saw a couple of crocs even though it was high tide and not many come out then usually, he seemed to know just where to look. Very informative, free drink and a small cheese platter to share-great value!

Excellent cruise. Service and commentary was very good. The Skipper was knowledgeable and entertaining. Bec was super efficient with drinks and snacks. This is a must do when visiting Port Douglas.
