This is a great tour for those who only want to spend a half-day out or are short on time. We visit two areas on this trip, Daintree River and Mossman Gorge.

We begin with a drive along the Captain Cook Highway, on the way to the Daintree River, and share a little history along the way.

Here, we board a cruise along the Daintree River, looking out for local wildlife, including the estuarine crocodile, snakes, birds, frogs, and more.

After the Wildlife Cruise, we enjoy morning tea with Lamingtons and tea/coffee.

Once in Mossman Gorge National Park, we conduct an interpretive walk along an elevated boardwalk. Weather dependent, we can enjoy a dip in the crystal-clear rainforest stream, whilst being surrounded by the beautiful and healing Mossman Gorge rainforest.

What a memorable way to spend your morning!

Wonderful and informative tour with Kim. From the bus ride to the Daintree River - back to Mossman Gorge - so much knowledge of the area was passed on. Saw a Croc on the river cruise - lamingtons and Coffee for morning tea. Mossman Gorge was amazing - very glad decided to go for a swim in the swimming hole! Amazing experience. Thank you

Fantastic tour with our very knowledgeable tour guide Mel. Managed to spot some crocs on the river cruise with Bruce, who also was very knowledgeable and knew where to find the crocs.

We were picked up from Peppers Beach club by Alf and had an amazing guided tour as we drove to the Daintree River. Alf was cheerful from the start with a happy and professional (but fun) drive. The river tour was a sight! Immediately spotting a crocodile on the banks then a few others. River guide Griffith with his trained eye and knowledge was great! Onto the Mossman Gorge, we were blown away by the beauty and enjoyed a swim in the cool fresh water. Be sure to take this 1/2 day tour in the morning as gets busy mid-morning onward. You won't regret this one!! Thanks, Chris & Sarah

Crikey, we saw a heap of crocs on the river today, babies to adults, snakes and birds gallore. Short drive to the bay of the gorge and a good enough walk to get your sweat on, it's an easy walk on a built pathway and you end up at the most beautifully refreshing waterhole for a quick dip. Fresh water with a slight current, got to swim with freshwater fish. Our tour guide Mel was amazing super friendly and so knowledgeable about the area and the gorge. Highly recommend this tour.

Lovely day out. Alf was great and so knowledgeable. 2 beautiful places to visit and recommend. Loved the cruise and saw what nature offered and very lucky to see 3 crocs inc a baby & the gorgeous surrounds. Nice morning tea and grateful for food allergy catering. Mossman Gorge was great and a perfect day for it. Did feel a little rushed at times which i know is hard especially with road works & schedules however we were back at our resort at 12 so there was plenty of time to have perhaps slowed down just a little smidgen and enjoyed a tiny bit more. :) Thank you for a wonderful morning. Will recommend and be back for a day tour on our next visit to Cape Trib

We only had a short time available in PD so didn't want to do a full-day tour. The morning half-day tour worked really well for our schedule. Pickup was around 7:30am and we were back at our hotel by about 12:30pm. The tour includes a short boat cruise along the Daintree River and then a stop at Mossman Gorge for a short walk to explore some of the sites. Pickup was prompt and on time - the tour has no more than 12 people on it, our day had 10. The Daintree Cruise was nice, lovely to explore some of the mangrove areas and experience a range of wildlife (not just Crocs). Managed to spot a couple of crocodiles which was great to see them in their natural habitat. After the cruise was a light morning tea of Tea/Coffee/Juice and a lovely Mocka (PD institution) Lamington. Not a huge morning tea but really enjoy just to fuel you up (considering it is just a half-day trip). Trip to Mossman Gorge was enjoyable, you definitely won't get to see ALL that this place has to offer but it provided a great introduction for us to potentially go back and explore again. Overall a great morning and our guide Mick was informative, friendly, and engaging. Well worth it if you don't have your own transport and also are short on time in PD.

Picked up at our resort by Mick who was very informative and gave information of the area while on the way to the Daintree River cruise. The guide on the boat was also well informed and constantly on the lookout for crocodiles. We saw one larger female croc and two baby crocs. Morning tea was offered. Then off to the Mossman Gorge which was beautiful. The water was flowing very quickly and the rainforest majestic. No swimming was allowed that day due to the recent rains making it too dangerous. Overall a very enjoyable tour.
