The Shaolin is a unique original Chinese Junk Sailing Boat. We only take up to 13 pax on a snorkelling Charter to Low Island, so you can charter the whole boat to yourselves and have our amazing local crew look after you and give you fantastic personalised service to make your day one to remember. We sail, snorkel, relax and have fun. We are happy to tailor the whole day to suit your individual needs.

We will sail out along the Port Douglas waterfront, into the Coral Sea, with morning tea provided, out to spectacular Low Island. Then take you to the island and give you a personalised, small group, snorkelling tour. Then a guided island walk showing you the historical lighthouse and island wildlife. Then back to the boat for a delicious lunch. Then either another deep water, adventure snorkel tour, or off the island or relax on the boat, whatever your group would like to do. Then sail back to Port Douglas with afternoon tea, and drinks along the way. A perfect day for all, with small numbers, have the whole boat to yourself!

Fantastic day on Shaolin cruising out to the Low Isles for snorkelling and tour of island. Flynn was a friendly knowledgeable host and Captain, His knowledge of the area was second to none. Lunch and snacks were plentiful and delicious. The girls were very friendly and helpful. We also loved that there was only 13 on the trip. Would highly recommend this day trip!

What a brilliant day! As soon as we boarded the crew Flynn & Taylor made us so welcome & set tone for brilliant day, nothing was to much trouble. With the schedule & safety explained we set sail for the Low Islands. We successfully negotiated some so so weather on the way there & had a great time snorkelling. We had a short walk & brief history of the islands followed by another snorkel, lots of lovely coral, fish, small sharks & several turtles. A fantastic lunch then a slightly rocky cruise home. Thank you so much a really great way to spend a day in Port Douglas

Absolutely brilliant. We had already done a tour to the outer reef for double the price. But the day trip to the Low Isles on the Shaolin was much better. Service was wonderful, food was great and we swam with turtles for 2 hours. Drinks on the front deck while we sailed back into Port Douglas was so relaxing. Only 13 people which was great.

We had an amazing day with Capt Rob and Floyd. They looked after us with a great tour around snorkelling with Floyd & Rob did a walk around the island. Topped off with a fantastic lunch on board. Headed back to Pt Douglas with a listing, but it was a different way to get home! Lol.

Amazing day on the reef, the crew were incredibly friendly and service was exceptional, made you feel like a family group rather than a number. The reef at Low Isles was monstrous but the variety of marine life was spectacular. Loved the traditional Chinese Junk boat and 100% would do again, worth the money. Crew looked after me with sea sickness. 10/10 day out! Thanks guys xxx

Great day out with on a beautiful boat with wonderful knowledgeable crew. Loved the snorkelling (so many turtles!!) and the island walk. Delicious lunch. Plenty of deck space to relax.

What a brilliant experience and great day out! The Junk, built in 1969 is beautifully restored and kept, very comfortable and has everything you need for a day out on the bay! From the moment we stepped on board, welcomed with fruit, muffins and drinks, we knew we'd made the right choice to sail out to Low Island. The skipper and crew were fantastic as was the sumptuous lunch and information provided re the region and history..😁 Highly recommend sailing with Shoalin tours!

Great snorkelling trip to the Low Isles aboard Shaolin. Crew (Rob and Cade) were great - informative and friendly. The snorkelling equipment was of good quality and the underwater sites were fantastic. Lots of turtles and reef sharks to see. The lunch buffet and food in general were of good quality throughout the day. Getting the sails up made for a brisk return voyage in the afternoon. Overall, a great day out. Good to have a smaller group in comparison to the larger numbers on the big catamarans. Highly recommended.

The team at Shaolin made this such a memorable experience. The boat is full of character, the crew are very friendly and knowledgeable, and the marine life at the Low Isles is like nothing I have experienced before. We saw so many turtles, fish, colourful coral, and we even swam with sharks! Thank you Rob and Floyd for such a wonderful day.
