The visit to Mossman Gorge Visitor Centre ( plus morning tea) and the smoking ceremony was special and the Jindalba walk in the Daintree is spectacular - we even saw a cassowary. This was a great way to see a lot of Port Douglas's attractions for those on a short timeframe. We started with a smoking ceremony and learned about some of the local indigenous natural remedies and customs before visiting a few short walks within the Daintree as well as a lookout. We then went to lunch and had a swim in a waterhole before heading to Cape Tribulation and visiting a local ice cream shop. It was a big day and most people on the bus passed out on the way home. It did feel a little rushed at times, but this was to be expected on a one day see all trip and the sheer size of the Daintree.

Excellent day spent with Kim, driver, exploring the Daintree National Park. Starting with breakfast at Mossman Gorge after a walk along a walking track that was suitable for all abilities. Then continued onto the Daintree River with numerous stops for photo opportunities along walking tracks and lookouts. Lunch at On the Turps restaurant, where you had a choice of steak, barramundi, vegetarian wrap and fruit, all inclusive. Also able to swim in Cooper Creek if you wanted. After lunch moved on to Cape Tribulation beach before stopping at the Daintree Ice Cream Company. This alone would be worth the trip. From the ice xream Co.pany we continued back to the Daintree River where we had an hour crocodile spotting cruise. Ray the guide was fantastic. We saw crocodiles in the wild from babies just 4 months old to a 5m 800kg male with his mate. Also spotted a python in the trees. This was on of the best tours I have ever been on and would highly recommend this to anyone.
