This is a great tour for those who only want to spend a half-day out, are short on time, or want to enjoy a nice sleep-in while on holiday! We visit two areas on this trip, Daintree River and Mossman Gorge.
We begin with a drive along the Captain Cook Highway, on the way to the Daintree River, and share a little history along the way.
Here, we board a cruise along the Daintree River, looking out for local wildlife, including the estuarine crocodile, snakes, birds, frogs, and more. Enjoy a beer, wine or soft drink with a snack while cruising.
After the Wildlife Cruise, we head over to Mossman Gorge.
Once in Mossman Gorge National Park, we conduct an interpretive walk along an elevated boardwalk. Weather dependent, we can enjoy a dip in the crystal-clear rainforest stream, whilst being surrounded by the beautiful and healing Mossman Gorge rainforest. What a memorable way to spend an afternoon!

Our tour guide Mel was very good but maybe we went in with higher expectations of what might be encountered. Mossman Gorge was good, great scenery in a pristine environment. The lower Daintree River Tour was a bit of a dissapointment, once again maybe our expectations were to high.

Great friendly tour guides. Alf on the bus and Bruce Belcher at the Daintree River. Half a day was enough to get a feel for this amazing ecosystem. Swimming in the Mossman Gorge is an experience. Recommended.

Fantastic to see 7 saltwater crocs on the Daintree River Tour. Operator was very knowledgeable and familiar with regular habitats for the crocs.

Great value for money. Saw heaps of crocs and a python. Enjoyed a vino and chips on the boat. Shuttle bus driver was very friendly.

It was too rushed the boat trip was great and the George was spectacular.
The Guide push us along and could of not take everything in.
We were aloud 15 minutes at the water hole before we had to go which was disappointing.

Our bus driver gave us a good history lesson and the river cruise was really good spotted four or five crocs . The Mossman gorge was fantastic

This was a last minute booking due to a cancelled full day tour to the Daintree and Cooktown due to flooding. We were happy with our Daintree river cruise and our visit to Mossman Gorge. Our driver, Alf, was excellent and imparted a lot of information and history which we appreciated.

Had a fantastic half day tour with Grant. Swimming in that water was so refreshing and not as cold as we though. The walk was easy and the scenery was amazing. The Daintree was not what I expected . Thoroughly enjoyed the river cruise as well.

The guides and drivers were amazing. Very knowledgeable people and I wish I was better with names so as I could actually name them. Magnificent.
The Mossman Gorge was so tranquil and beautiful. The water was so clear and peaceful and the surrounds were just beautiful. Nature in its full glory.
The Daintree River Cruise, again the surrounds, amazing and to see the crocodiles I the wild was an experience I’ll never forget.
