With its own private gate leading to 1 of the Resorts 2 pools, you are only steps away from the water. REEF RESORT IS AN IDEAL DESTINATION for families, for couples seeking a private time away, or for friends wishing to enjoy each other's company - the Resort has its own restaurant, bar, children's playground and bbq areas.
THE SPACE
Poolside @ Reef Resort - Villa 169 is ideally located in the Resort, in a quiet private location overlooking one of the 2 pools and away from the hustle and bustle of the centre of the Resort.
THE LOCATION:
Villa 169 is in a 'favoured' position within the Resort, with immediate gated access from it’s private courtyard into the Resort’s #2 pool (not heated) and is just a short stroll from the Resort’s restaurant, bar, heated main pool and the manager’s office (where tours etc can be booked). 4-Mile Beach is an easy (and level) 5 minute stroll along a private pathway opposite the Resort and the centre of Port Douglas, with its many shops, restaurants, cafes and other attractions is a short 3 minute drive (or half hour walk). Many guests do not worry about a car, as the local bus service passes through the Resort at regular intervals (and also along the main road fronting the Resort).
THE FACILITIES INSIDE VILLA 169:
Villa 169 comprises 2 levels:
– the ground floor comprises the living area, with a tastefully decorated lounge room (complete with 42” TV, Netflix and DVD) and a dining area, that flows through to the deluxe oversize kitchen (with full size 2 door fridge, 4 hotplates, microwave, toaster, kettle and all crockery and cutlery). Also on the ground floor is a full second bathroom and the fully equipped laundry, with washer and dryer;
– the first floor is the sleeping level with 2 bedrooms, the master bedroom with a queen size bed and the second bedroom with a double and a single bed – being sleeping for up to 5 guests. Also on the first floor is the main bathroom with a full size bath (with step in shower) – ideal for soaking after a day at the beach or reef.
WIFI:
Villa 169 has secure Wifi connected, for the free exclusive use of Villa 169 guests.
ALL LINEN SUPPLIED:
Villa 169 is fully prepared for your stay, with freshly laundered sheets and pillow cases obtained from the local laundry service, ensuring the highest standards of quality and hygiene. Each guest is provided with a bath towel and a beach towel. Face clothes, shampoo/conditioner/soap, tea, coffee, sugar, salt & pepper are also provided.
COMPLIMENTARY CLEANS FOR STAYS OVER 9 NIGHTS:
Villa 169 is not a serviced property, so it is not made up during your stay. However, for stays more than 9 nights, a complimentary mid stay clean and change of linen & toiletries is provided.
ACCESS:
Villa 169 has its own private entrance, with a key safe installed on the front door, allowing guests to let themselves into the Villa upon arrival. This gives guests total flexibility as to their arrival time. And being a Port Douglas local, your host is only a few minutes away if assistance is needed.
CAR PARKING:
Guests enjoy free open air parking, which is only steps away from Villa 169. This means your car is always nearby.
FACILITIES IN THE RESORT:
All of the facilities of Reef Resort are available for the use of guests, including the 2 swimming pools (main pool heated), restaurant, bar, bbq facilities, pool furniture, children’s play area and the onsite office (for booking tours, advice etc)
RATES:
Your Host owns and self manages Villa 169, with accommodation rates that are most competitive and often below those charged for the other Villas in the Resort.
GUESTS INTERACTION
Guests will receive an email with the key safe access code to the Villa before arrival, so there is no picking up keys or checking in, making it very easy for you.
Your host lives in Port Douglas and is available via phone or email if you need assistance and is only a few minutes away.
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
The Villa is fully made up for your arrival, with bath towels & a pool towels provided together with shampoo, conditioner & soap. Otherwise the Villa is self-catering
Please note, the Villa is not serviced on a daily basis, however a complimentary mid stay clean and change of linen & toiletries is provided for stays over 9 nights; an optional mid stay service is available for shorter stays at a additional cost of $120.

Situated in the popular 4-Mile Beach area of Port Douglas, the Reef Resort is surrounded by other prestige properties and only a 5 minute walk to the 4-Mile corner shops (with the Otz Café, cellars, medical/dental centre). The renowned Beach Shack Restaurant and Barrier Reef Tavern are also within a comfortable walk (as are the restaurants at the adjoining Oaks Hotel Resort and Ramada Resort). An IGA Supermarket is a 15 minute walk.

A car is recommended, but local bus and uber services are throughout Port Douglas.
